The 'No other option' players

Well,We have a thread about Kamran Akmal and a lot of us have made fun of the fact that pakistan keeps going back to him,no matter what....... But I guess it is justified, that now maybe a rumor but as someone said Bhajji might make a comeback because most options we tried as a substitute have failed. Now ofcourse as Bhajji might maybe way ahead of Akmal as a cricketer and in terms of acheivements but isn't it a similar situation that we might go back to something we thought is done and dusted. Who do you think are some of the players who have played more matches than he deserved because they were at the right place at the right time despite being not good enough??? Here is my list..... Akmal Sami Carlton Baugh/Ramdin.Courtney Browne(Most WI keepers in the last 15 years except for maybe Ridley Jacobs) Yuvraj Singh(Test Matches) RP Singh Wickramasinghe Seteve Smith/Doherty(Any aussie spinner who played multiple games since Hogg or Hogg himself after Warne) Luke Wright(English definition of ODI specialist)

People who are saying Sreesanth dont seem to have understood the OP (or maybe they have). I think the OP asks for those players who will come back to the team in spite of being tried and failed. So do you guys think Disco will come back to the team?

He has not been dropped, he is injured. So when he is injury free he will return.

You understand Sreesanth ain't no Zaheer to enjoy that kinda rightful respect, don't you?

Have you seen our "bowlers" :cantstop: :cantstop::cantstop::cantstop: Sreesanth is widely regarded as one of the best bowlers to play the game talent wise and in a country like India where we have no decent seamer, he will always be welcome. Apart from an ageing Zaheer, Sree remains our only attacking seamer who can take wickets in all formats of the game. Also cricinfo reported a while back that the BCCI had asked Sree if he was fit for world T20 to which he said no. Sree also ruled himself out for world T20.

Oh the irony.
It's true man. OP said the player has been in the right place at the right time. Deffo not Sree. If he played for Aus, Pak or Eng he would be a leading spearhead in all formats of the game. Instead he is playing second fiddle to people like Dinda, VK, Ishant who are no where near as good as him. Only Yadav has shown promise but he is not in Sree's league.
