Asim Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Ethnic Buddhist Rakhine are butchering Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar/Burma, hundreds of homes, villages and mosques been set on fire, looted or destroyed, more than a hundred thousand Rohingyas are internally displaced and facing mass starvation, people including kids been burnt alive and it all continues happening right now every day but: Media in whole world is @silence mode & more importantly "Champions of human rights" are found nowhere near them, or maybe they don't simply consider these people as "human"?
suraj Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Genocide based on religion, race, preferences anywhere is bad :((
saurabhg Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Ethnic Buddhist Rakhine are butchering Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar/Burma, hundreds of homes, villages and mosques been set on fire, looted or destroyed, more than a hundred thousand Rohingyas are internally displaced and facing mass starvation, people including kids been burnt alive and it all continues happening right now every day but: Media in whole world is @silence mode & more importantly "Champions of human rights" are found nowhere near them, or maybe they don't simply consider these people as "human"? Though i condemn it in the strongest terms, but along with Media and "Champions of human rights", where are ur countrymen, the socalled champions of Islam, who cry hoarse abt Kashmir, Palestine........
Asim Posted July 19, 2012 Author Posted July 19, 2012 ^ yeah it very much includes our so called "human rights" organizations, social activists, govt, media etc etc who are equally part of this criminal silence besides whole world... and when I said media of whole world, it also includes our socalled independent media as well...

Asim Posted July 19, 2012 Author Posted July 19, 2012 (cant post images here due to obvious reasons but innocent people including kids been burnt alive, keep religion aside, I am ashamed of myself as human)
JaFanatic Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 you cant control such things unless ppl stop believing these religious stuffs
Needforspeed Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 I read somewhere that the issue is also ethinic. The Rohingya are originally Bangladeshi illegal immigrants and not ethinic Burmese. Having settled in large numbers in the Northern Province of Arakan, now they are demanding an Independent Islamic state. The Taliban is also supposed to be extremely active in Arakan. Maybe there is another side to the story. Yes all killings of innocent civilians by whoever does it, needs to be condemned.
Prakat Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Sad for the innocents involved. How is Al Jazeera covering this story? Though i condemn it in the strongest terms' date=' but along with [b']Media and "Champions of human rights", where are ur countrymen, the socalled champions of Islam, who cry hoarse abt Kashmir, Palestine........ ^ yeah it very much includes our socalled "human rights" organizations' date= social activists, govt, media etc etc who are equally part of this criminal silence besides whole world... and when I said media of whole world, it also includes our socalled independent media as well... Is this a thing now?
superstar Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Funny how Pak brothers worry about Muslims everywhere but do not care about their own country. Ahmadiyya comes to mind. Not to forget Pak mercinaries brutally suppressed the freedom movement in Bahrain last year.
Clarke Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Two primary reasons: Burma is a restricted area without presence of International media and the place does not hold any strategic importance unlike the middle east.
Lurker Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Great to see! Looks like as a race we are fast becoming equal opportunity religious fundamentalist. This and Sinhalese atrocities in Sri Lanka shows how the pacifist Buddhist have also joined the Abrhaminical hatred. Awesome!!!
ravishingravi Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Wow!! Buddhists engaging in ethnic cleansing. Talk about irony.
punjabi_khota Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Buddhists butchering people. Does not compute. :wall:
Swing_n_Speed Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Ethnic Buddhist Rakhine are butchering Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar/Burma' date=' hundreds of homes[/quote'] Buddhists know how to kill? I thought all they do is wear funny frocks and fart butterflies. As another poster said Buddhist's Killing? DOES NOT COMPUTE!

Abrahaminical Hatred. :haha: But hey don't hate the game...hate the players. I doubt the religions themselves preach any violence. Then again coining a term like Abrahamnical hatred suggests a personal grudge (?) which may also be classified as hatred? Awesome
