There are 100 types of buses in Bangalore - Big 10, Pushpak, Normal Blue, Volvo, Green, Vayu Vajra etc. - very confusing. The best bus service in Bangalore is the Vayu Vajra airport service out of all. KSRTC has a better state transport service than Mumbai's ST or BEST and that's that. Credit where due! :two_thumbs_up: Bangalore's "optional" metro service only started in the last 6 months. So, it's better to put the cards on the table. Delhi has the best at the metro in India. I doubt any other city in India is going to catch up on it due to the massive coverage and efficiency. The "other" services are the rickshaws and taxis in Mumbai. No other city including Bangalore, Hyderabad and Delhi ply a more efficient rickshaw & taxi service in the country. More important they are more honest and always go by meter. Rickshaw & taxi services are the same everywhere throughout India.But you were claiming these "other" services are only present in mumbai.:giggle:

But, the coverage and design of Mumbai buses fleet is quite different. I did some extensive analysis a couple of years back on Bangalore buses. :--D

So definitely not amiable. I ain't saying KSRTC is bad. It's one of the best not the run away best. You know that in those ladies only buses men traveled too right? At one point of time, there were only men traveled in that bus.

It calls for a heady mix of good judgement, guile, strength and timing. Much more skill involved in day to day local travel than equestrian, baseball and some of the other games that are there at the Olympics.

The more the types of buses more the complication. Multiple types of buses ply on the same route - which makes passenger confusing with varying ticket prices. Anyways, I don't think you would understand so I will leave this thread at this point.
