Either admit you don't consider your birth country as yours anymore and stay away or if participating then admit it is your country's and society's problem; not some isolated land. At least brush up on the facts and figures or keep a perspective on individual incidents vs societal matters before you and your kind blare out the same old shithole etc jargon. The sensible ones here mention law and order while some of you couldn't be bothered. Does that same thought come to mind when you firangs watch Deepika/Saina/Sania perform for India, hey whats wrong with these fine ladies representing the third worst place on earth for women after Saudi/Pak ? Om Prakash Chautala? :haha: Seriously though, my issue is when people, in this case you, end up mixing issues and end up causing more confusion than clarity. In this case some of you are trying to make it look like - Indian women are under attack, while this is clearly a case of growing Hindu fundamentalism in India. This is similar to Shiv Sena cohorts coming out against Valentine's Day celebration and beating couples. This has little similarity to say Guwahati incident where a mob molested girls. Lets try to make conscious differentiation.

You can find pictures online, if you have not heard of it Question is - Do you expect ANY Indian starlet today to do anything like that and not be hounded by culture police?? For the record, no politician/policeman and/or any person in any position of authority in Australia will ever claim women bought rape upon themselves by the way they dress. Australia doesn't make the news for attempted gang rapes in the public every two days either.

If my oppose you mean going and hitting the girls then sure it is. The correct way is to register your issues with the right authorities. In this case, it looks like taking the laws in ones hands which is legally incorrect. Also, note the bigger picture rather than muddling up with the specifics. Moral policing in any form is not good no matter how right or wrong few people are.

"Oh so it wasn't a birthday party but a rave party so maybe the revelers deserve what they got" - would be the justification. excerpt HJV activists who got wind of the party at the resort barged in and starting physically jostling the revelers which included around four women and as many men. A girl who tried to escape from the clutches of HJV activists was brought back to the resort and thrashed. As news of the incident spread, locals including corporator Mohan Padil came to the area and sought action against those involved in partying there. Police later forcibly evicted Mohan from the area. So, the local corporator comes to the area and seeks action against those partying and not against those beating them up. Worse still is that this is caught on camera. An entire film crew was taken along.
