I never bought this 'make money' arguement. They were advertising on the old jersey too. That is the whole point o sponsorship. Does this 're-launch' really make more money? They are going to sell jerseys anyways. Are people ( Indians especially) so crazy that they will buy an official Indian jersey just because there is a new one in the market. Would they still buy it if they have an earlier version?

There is always a market for everything. There are indians who buy DVDs. I have never bought one :--D. The past 3 days or so we are also talking about Nike. Every channel is discussing the new 'Nike' jersey. So that is free advertising for them with minimal investment.
