Ultimate_Game Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Eng and Aus had few cocky players when they were no. 1 which led many to hate them... SA has hardly any.. most of them are down to earth blokes... hope they do good in future. :) I guess you didn't hear Smith and Kalli flap their gums when India toured SA in 2010 and lost the 1st Test :giggle: But by the end of the series they were eating a humble pie :--D

Chalks Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 Steyn, Morkel and Philander will finally finish off Ponting's career. :ohyeah:
SLICKR392 Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 Steyn' date=' Morkel and Philander will finally finish off Ponting's career. :ohyeah:[/quote'] He will still make a comeback when Aus plays against us.
deathmonger Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 He will still make a comeback when Aus plays against us. No he won't. Next series is in India.:cantstop:
Trichromatic Posted December 3, 2012 Author Posted December 3, 2012 Once again they prove that they are best in the world.
ravishingravi Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 They are the best in the world when they need to be.
Chalks Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Yep. Oz probably had the better of the first two tests overall, but once Safrica got out of the Adelaide test unscathed, one got the feeling they would finally get their act together in Perth. And after Oz rolled over meekly in their first innings, Amla, Smith, and ABDV took it away from them. Worthy #1 side - more so than England ever were - and could hold it for some while now.
Old guy Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 in this test they played like gr8 aussie team..what a performance...what come back :hatsoff:
Trichromatic Posted December 3, 2012 Author Posted December 3, 2012 Worthy #1 side - more so than England ever were - and could hold it for some while now. :agree: Can't see them losing to NZ and Pakistan at home. They are safe till India series at the end of 2013.
Pagalpanti Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 SA away record Aus: 1-0 (W) back to back series win in Australia Eng: 2-0 (W) Ind: 1-1 (D) SL: 0-1 (L) way back in 2004 Pak(UAE): 0-0 (D) NZ: 1-0 (W) WI: 2-0 (W) Out of 7 places they've won in 4, drawn in 2 and lost just one way back in 2004. After Australia's downfall SA have been the only team that has come close to showing the dominance Aus/WI had shown before.
saneindian Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Congrats to SA. With NZ, Sri Lanka and India as the next teams they face, its difficult to see SA being displaced from the number 1 rank any sooner.
namasteji1 Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Sa will get displaced after being beaten by india.
Trichromatic Posted December 3, 2012 Author Posted December 3, 2012 Sa will get displaced after being beaten by india. Let India win few home series first.
SLICKR392 Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 :hatsoff: to Faf, if it wasn't for him the series would have been a tie.
