He's had one ordinary season in Ranji. Hopefully he'll do better this season. TN has a decent pool of batsmen, so the competition is obviously higher.

cool .. i alwyas trust ur knowledge ..mandeep stills needs to improve a bit and i havent seen yadav bat ever not even in t20 i guess batting wise we are covered

Baba is a much better bowler than he showed in wc imo.Remember he bowled in Aus conditions which were supposed to be graveyard for off spinners.He was India's leading wk taker going into this tournament.Also had some great performances with the ball in the quadrangular series in India few months back. Think TN definetly sees him as a future regular.They tried to blood him into the team and even promoted him to no.3 ahead of the likes of Badri and Karthick in a couple of matches. He could easily be as good as Ashwin with the ball with time.Hopefully we have decent pitches helping spinners in chepauk so that Aprajith and Srinivas can take advantage of and develop.
