Actually looking at the stats i was really surprised by the poor numbers Gambhir has against the likes of SA Aus and Pak.Perhaps he is Gambhir is overrated despite his 97 in wc final. But i suppose because the occasion and importance of that 97 he will continue to be overrated by fans.

Yeah, he is probably only player whose failures are easily masked. Ganguly would easily be among top 10 ODI batsmen of all time.

India had a massive chance to win the 1st Test and FYI he had 7 wickets in that match but our batsmen had other plans. When you perform well and the team fails to capitalize on it then we might wanna stop whinging.

Actually surprised noone from our 83 winning team got any mention.Suppose most of us are too young to rate them. Think the likes of Vengsarkar , Amarnath Sandeep Patel and Srikanth deserve a mention.Ofcourse Kapil even as a batsman too.Not sure how good they compared with the likes of Dhoni Yuvi and Sehwag

My logic for Zack was that India didn't win a single game on AUS tour due to his contribution. It was more of Gambjir/Kohli/Dhoni contribution. If you can't make your team win a single match against this AUS side , then you didn't perform well.
