SLICKR392 Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 whats wrong with that?? +1 Ganguly was a good captain. A decent ODI player..nothing great, his S/R says it all. Yuvi has won us way more matches than he has!
virufan Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Only 1 English player?? Need to add Collingwood, Neil Fairbrother to the list. And no Steve Waugh, Ajay Jadeja?
Vilander Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Murali Vijay should be no 4. This list sucks :beee:
Raghav_12 Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 If OP had managed to keep his obssesive syndrome with Dhoni and hatred with Sachin, it could have been very good list. Still, I would say it's a very good effort. Some changes I would have lliked: Dean Jones should be much ahead than 39. Afridi can move up probably, particularly if you consider that he is still very young Don't know if Younis was that good in ODI's (or may be i still remember Jadeja?) Ganguly should not be that higher up Azhar? If he has been kept out for his role in fixing, than I may agree. else he might be good shout From memory I remember Trescothick was good. Not sure if good enough. Somebody mentioned Fairbrother. I may agree with that. How about Alan Lamb?

Rameshraja17 Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Symonds and Irfan not deserved to be in the list. Shocking to see No mahela Jayawardena..????? WC final centurion... guys like Andy flower , anil kumble , Alec stewart , Darren gough and Heath streak should also be added considering their contribution...

prinzo Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 What about the greatest fielder the game has ever seen Jonty Rhodes?
rixxuu Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 MSD at 2 and Lara at 23? I think Lara is an all time great, atleast deserves to be in top 10 if not top 5...:nervous:
saket123 Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 "Greatest ODI players" is as meaningless a term as Greatest Car or Greatest Movie. The criteria, parameters, variables.. all matter.. without which this is just pure mental masturbation.
Rohit S. Ambani Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Your list is outdated, Sachin Tendulkar should be in Top 3.
