Were you even watching the game. He may not have scored heavily' date=' but the entry of MSD completely changed the tempo of the Indian innings.[/quote'] I am not after MSD here but this doesn't quite make sense.

Change of tempo to MSD's entry. There is correlation but no causation.
There's plenty of causation. The tempo was 'A' before he came, but became 'B' after his entry. What more evidence of causation do you want? This is not to imply that the same change would not have happened if either Raina or Yuvraj came in, but you cannot brush away what happened.

:hysterical::hysterical: I had changed my sitting position at the same time. So that also would have contributed some way. I am not saying that same change wouldn't have happened if I had continued to sit in same posture, but you can not brush away what happened.

MS Dhoni asked Rohit Sharma to bat on middle and leg against Bresnan in the 19th over rather than batting outside leg. The next to next ball Bresnan was launched for a boundary over the point boundary helping him get the middle of the bat which would not have happened otherwise. Pro- active and quick thinking by MS Dhoni.

That was some interesting post-match analysis in star studio.

Still going on - Dermot Reeve is considered a great strategist on the cricket field. For example, while playing the spinners he kept dropping his bat because you can't be caught off if the bat is not in your hands!
