CoverDrive Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 yograj singh is a real drama queen. yuvraj is much more sensible. yuvraj showed he has a lot of passion to play for india. amazing watching him give his all on the field.
Sidhoni Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 He is still our best bowler in T20s after Ashwin. :hatsoff: And kudos to MS for keeping him in the squad!
Sidhoni Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 I think we shouldnt bat him at 4.He should bat after Raina and Rohit. He should bat at 7.
Crookbond Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Yuvraj's place in XI was not in doubt - Dhoni http://www.espncricinfo.com/icc-world-twenty20-2012/content/current/story/584894.html "When it comes to fitness, as far as this format is concerned, he looks very fit for this format," Dhoni said. "I think he has done a lot [of work] in the last few months. It is not like he has played cricket straight in the World Twenty20. Before this he has spent a lot of time at the National Cricket Academy and after that he played a bit of active domestic cricket. He looks good. I am not really concerned about his fitness."
Raghav_12 Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 He is still our best bowler in T20s after Ashwin. :hatsoff: And kudos to MS for keeping him in the squad! somehow you'll figure out a way to praise Dhoni :hysterical: Kudos to Dhoni for bringing him on, so early to bowl during pak innings.
BeautifulGame Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 somehow you'll figure out a way to praise Dhoni :hysterical: Kudos to Dhoni for bringing him on, so early to bowl during pak innings. That is true though.Dhoni always backs Yuvi to the hilt no matter what. They seem to have some real good understanding unlike Dhoni - Sehwag / Dhoni - Gambhir.During both 2011 world cup and this T20 world cup Dhoni has backed Yuvi to the hilt when there was a severe backlash for doing that. He even promoted Yuvi during that England match (2011 wc) to help him reatin form which turned out a master stroke. He is exactly trying to to do the same by promoting Yuvi whenever there is less pressure to regain his form.He also always backed Yuvi the bowler.
Crookbond Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Yuvraj Singh – keeping the faith http://www.wisdenindia.com/cricket-article/yuvraj-singh-keeping-the-faith/28671 India were perhaps momentarily caught off guard when Shahid Afridi walked out at No. 3, but it didn’t take Dhoni long to recover and get his bowling options and his fields right. L Balaji was brought on in the Power Play to deny Afridi the pace he so thrives on; there was a long-on which was manned by Yuvraj when Dhoni could easily have put Kohli, Suresh Raina or Rohit Sharma, swifter, better fielders on current form, there. It was a statement of faith, a faith that was to pay off as the evening unfolded. Yuvraj made one athletic stop as Afridi blasted Balaji down the ground, then came to bowl three tidy overs of left-arm spin that fetched him the scalps of Nasir Jamshed and Kamran Akmal for just 16 runs. The coup de grace came 40 minutes later when, from his favoured position at point, he swooped on the ball and scored a direct hit at the bowler’s end to run Yasir Arafat out. It was vintage Yuvraj, even if the celebration wasn’t; cricket, understandably, is no more a matter of life and death for the young man, which is not to say that his passion has diminished any or his commitment flagged.
Lord Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 another KT thread being made to look silly:phehehe:
King Tendulkar Posted October 1, 2012 Author Posted October 1, 2012 ^ well he is still ridiculously unfit. Although handicapped child in a wheel chair would still be to much for pakis
