someone Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 How on earth is removing a Captain after 7 successful years random or quickly? That is the shelf life of even the best captains! And we have already hit rock bottom so what can be worse? Because that's the question which should be asked. How long are we gonna give our next captain? I believe few time, so I would imagine a lot of chopping each series. The problems are far bigger than just the captain.

Dhoni from that interview, didn't show any ideas nor any motivation to change things to improve our performances. I have to admit I am disappointed and maybe, Dhoni should be removed as a captain. We still have the final test to play, we still have an opportunity to draw the series. So please quit your pessimistic and defeatist thinking. After the series, surely we need an evaluation but not now.

Defeat after defeat, rape aftet rape, shocking captaincy after shocking captaincy. And you waffle like a pathetic spokesperson to stop being pessimistic!! We just lost in 3 days against a poor team who have just lost to SL at home. We lost 9 wickets in one session. We surrendered as per all dhoni teams with no fight, like in last test. And you say stop being defeatist??? Stick your head in the sand

Mostly down to his ODI and T20 performances, but he is still a mega superstar in India (richest cricketer in the world by far), and the Indian public just can't have enough of him. Do you really think Srini and BCCI will sack their cash cow?

Lost all the test series overseas , against big teams, in the last 3 years. I have seen, right from the mid '80s-- till the time Dhoni came -- one bad series and a dozen past players started abusing the captain. Calling for his head. Suddenly ALL of them have become restrained even after 3 years of abject failure ???? Believable ?
