We have lost the series, played terribly, surely the captain, Dhoni's position should be completely evaluated and possibly be sacked. But at the same time, how can we reward our poor batsman with the new role of the Indian cricket team. What kind of message will that send, play poorly and yet become a captain. How can be choose between these 2 situations? What ever! Sack the mofo.

What saddens me is since we cannot rely on the BCCI babus and corporate Chamchas take any action on Dhoni ,Why isn't Dhoni the person see the light and step down...Has he lost all self-respect and a sterotypical politician who hangs on to his spot now? I have lost all respect I have for Dhoni as a person as well.

Dhoni is focused on only one thing and one thing only $$$ He will only not be skipper when he feels being skipper may effect his brand value. But the kudos of captaincy means much extra in sponsorship for captain corrupt plus helps to boost csk value which pleases his sugar daddie i.e skipper is csk and he also boosts csk by picking their players and so boost csk profits. Will only step down when it suits dhoni, srini and csk.

Before this series I was of the opinion that he should be sacked from Tests but stay in ODIs but after watching this series its obvious that he is done as a Captain. He should step down/be sacked form ALL formats. Not likely to happen though.

We need to prepare the alternative. If I am not wrong, we haven't ever played Bangladesh in tests at home. Now, this is the most needed thing, start by arranging a series with one of the so called minnows. That will provide the perfect opportunity to experiment with our team and give an opportunity to a new captain. Posters like KT who can only whine each day is very much like a Pakistan cricket supporter as that aren't solving anything

Appoint anyone, he won't be worse than Dhoni. At least try something new instead of continuing with a proven failure.

A new captain CANNOT do worse than Dhoni.

Perfect time to give captaincy to Kohli and Pujara. Who knows, it may do them a world of good.

That's were we are going wrong, not playing more weak teams at home. What is the alternative they cry. Some one who cares about winning and losing and not about the process will be a start:giggle:
