Straight Drive Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 I was of the opinion before this series that Dhoni should still be the captain.However, not any more.He has been given enough time but the overseas test record is disgusting. 4-0 to Australia, 4-0 to England, 1-0 to SouthAfrica and 1-0 (likely as this seems to be a draw) to NewZealand.At least should be dropped as captain in test format, although he can remain as keeper batsman in playing 11. No wins across any formats in past 12 matches as well since SouthAfrica tour began.And NewZealand were No8 ranked in ODI's.

CG Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 We have changed the full set of batsman ,all seniors were blamed and they have been discarded and now we have new batsman but the same set of bowlers are persisted by the captain and the biggest deadwood in the team is the captain who has no shame in losing abroad and continues.

Good teams have 5 to 6 skippers, people with a voice. Dhoni has silenced that and they all fear him cos of his unbelievable power in indian cricket, he has no accountabilty and they all know it. No one even goes up to him with ideas or tells him if he is doing something wrong as scared. This no accountability and ttotal power which he misuses creates so many ugly negative ramifications for the team. Plus of course we never pick best team cos of this as well. No leaders, no fight. Dhonis smashed that down. Mr Cool team who stroll around like their pathetic leader Yes men, who know sucking up is only way. Sack his ****
