CoverDrive Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 He played the second innings last night and has played through most of the first innings today also. all around him wickets were falling and he has scored at a pretty good pace also. not just tuk tuk around. agreed it is not international class but this gives and idea of the hunger for run this guy has. :hatsoff:
CoverDrive Posted October 1, 2012 Author Posted October 1, 2012 he is captaining Ind B in Challenger trophy.
Lord Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 he is captaining Ind B in Challenger trophy. oh ok OD games.good to see him doing well there.needs be in radar for ODIs too.but the selectors dont look past Rohit
Crookbond Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Since Pujara is an almost certainty for India, it is better he plays on Indian pitches.
Magneto Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Not dismissed in either innings, anchored his side in both innings and slaughtered the bowling in the death overs.
Old guy Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 what a class player should open for india in odis

Old guy Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 But but there are no alternatives.... but he is test player and rohit hits ball better in nets :haha:
The Dark Horse Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 but he is test player and rohit hits ball better in nets :haha: And he can hit 30 runs in 5 balls. Pujara cant do that:agree:
Old guy Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 And he can hit 30 runs in 5 balls. Pujara cant do that:agree: its no brainer really ..people who hype pujara need to see rohit bat.. (needs some skill cos he bats for such a short duration :giggle:)
Crookbond Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 I don't think Pujara will come for ODIs any soon. We have likes of Tiwary and Rahane waiting - there's hardly a spot for him.
