But they did play very good cricket in this tourney, I must admit. They thumped the Aussies and beat the Saffers as well. Historically speaking, Pak has to be the luckiest team around (opposite to SA). Scraped through to SF in 1992 and won it, in 2009 T20 WC they were almost out, but somehow other results wen't their way. Same in Asia cup this year.

Same in Asia cup this year.[/quote'] Pakistan did not play like champions barring yesterday's performence.In match against SA they were collapsed and a miracle by GUl saved them .Against India they were down and out.Only 1 game against Aus they played like champion

In SC their spinners will eat SA, Eng and Aus alive. Only teams who can play spin, will do better against them in Asia. Now a days, they just bowl 2 overs with pace bowlers. :giggle:

All 3 spinners were deadly accurate giving absolutely no freebies. Raja kept bowling short and fast. He didn't have time to pull nor he could sweep off the length. Watson better come up with some other idea. Otherwise he is going to be dismissed again by him should they meet.

it's not our fault that you got defeated by Aus by a really big margin and SA got choked twice..We played better cricket than you both and deserved to be in the Semis.

dont get emotional.. Nobody says India played a great cricket and got knocked out. Sure rain affected their plan a bit. But India was lacking firepower in several areas. So no regret there. Two best teams from the group are going through. Only issue is preseeding. India despite having 5 or 6 out of form players would still whop Srilanka 9 out of 10 times. Being in group of death becamse so much disadvantageous.

thanks!! may be I'm wrong but I think it was your batting that mainly let you down..should have added 20-30 runs against Aus and chased down Pak total in 15th after the start you got but bowling apart from Aus game was much better than expected. also you guys should have played an additional spinner last night in place of Balaji.It was SA not SL or Pak you guys were playing against

Raza Hassan is bowling well for them in the initial overs and as always Ajmal is putting the pressure in the middle and death overs. And hafeez isn't bad either. Pak's bowling has the ability to choke the other tems and make it difficult for batsmen to score quick runs.

On a low scoring ground, it was always hard for India to win with such a big margin especially with the bowling attack we have while bowling second.

don't worry Nazir will take him to the cleaners but yeah that guy has been seriously good against us..much to do with his inswingers..Our batsmen do struggle against quality swing.. but thankfully we are playing at Colombo which is favorite for batting.
