Iconoclast Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 If DRS was being used ur spinners might be doing a little better but with that being said Ashwin has poor control and Ojha is unable to really rip it. One would think India should be producing better spinners than this ... England certainly are !
SLICKR392 Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 ^ Some fans are like that. We have chest thumpers and knee jerkers... that's the sub continent specialty: the emotional fan. +1 They had an off day and yes they did bowl poor length but that doesn't make them bad.
Crookbond Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 +1 They had an off day and yes they did bowl poor length but that doesn't make them bad. THIS.
Trichromatic Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 When was the last time we saw such rubbish bowling on a helpful track?
gaurav92 Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Disappointed with the way our batters batted, an now with the way bowlers bowled :((
Tiger80 Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 This forum is funny, a couple of weeks ago Ashwin was the best spinner on the planet and swann was shite! Youve only had 1 bad day, just relax, the opposition is allowed to play well. As an English fan I still think India are right in this game! Ashwin is still untested against teams which play spin well. His 40 wickets out of 53 are against WI and NZ in home series .In test matches he cannot be considered as best spinner

Trichromatic Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 220-2 now for Ashwin. His bowling has been disgrace.
Trichromatic Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 What does that have to do with England ? Cook, KP and Prior
NareshK Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 220-2 now for Ashwin. His bowling has been disgrace. He is bowling with a T20 mentality. Not bowling enough balls in the right spot and keeping pressure on the batsmen.
Sooda Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Boycs was saying Swann/Monty are a better spin duo than Ash/Ojha... Ojha bowls too slow through the air and does not get as much zip as Monty and Ashwins line and length are poor..
surajmal Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Harmeet Singh shouldn't have too much trouble getting into this side.
Trichromatic Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Ashwin has leaked 101 runs in 23 overs on a turner.

Ojha bowls too slow through the air and does not get as much zip as Monty and Ashwins line and length are poor.. Ojha has been good though and was unlucky with some catches dropping before fielders. Ashwin's line and length was poor. He was impatient and tried too many things.
asterix Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Slow spin will not work on this pitch. That's where our spinners got stuffed..
Deleted_User_1 Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Slow spin will not work on this pitch. That's where our spinners got stuffed.. Well bhajji can throw darts!!! :giggle:
Tiger80 Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 What does that have to do with England ? Did not say England play spin well, but they are way ahead from WI and NZ .Bigger test for Ashwin is yet to come
