Those discussing Kejriwal on facebook won't even go to vote. And I hope for first time in Indian history , people go out and vote. Atleast I will because the only hope for India is AAP.

This is why I am saying it is long term game.For publicity he named plenty of people as corrupt now he should move to another level and actually do some ground work
ViruRulez Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 I had always hoped for a good non-corrupt party to emerge in the long run. I doubt AAP would make any significant impact in 2014 but it might grow if they are true to their words. But the problem with Kejriwal and AAP is that they do say a lot of right things but often make a lot of non-sense too. Kejriwal is more like the Ron Paul of the US where he says a lot of right things but also says a few shitcrazy things which reduce the impact of all the right things they say. But Kejriwal is a populist and uses sort of gorilla tactics of hit and run while attacking others. So, he is cunning to some extent and also intellectual and his populist tactics might help him a bit. Not sure how long that would work though.

Isn't wasting time on the urban voters as he knows these guys will turn up for his rallies but on voting day, take the day off and relax at home. Draw your conclusions. :winky:

The party was launched in November 2012 with Arvind Kejriwal being elected as the National Convenor. The party said after its registration, this was the second milestone that the AAP has crossed on its way to cleaning up the polity of the country. The party believes broom symbolizes the dignity of labour. Alleging that other political parties are involved in corrupt practices, the AAP expressed hope that it will be able to curb corruption in the country.

The organisation started functioning from a rented accommodation in North East Delhi’s Sundar Nagri area, where Koli resides. “With her mother, she used to visit grievance redress camps outside the office of the Delhi Vidyut Board. Gradually, she showed interest and became part of the team,†said Rajeev Kumar, who worked with the organisation in its early years. Over the next few years, Koli gained popularity in her locality as the short, dark, girl who would address people’s grievances on the public distribution system and other government welfare schemes. Friends and aides know Koli for her feisty nature. In 2005, local goons attacked her twice with blades and surgical knives. She got stitches on her neck but was back to work. “There was lot of tension. He parents objected to her working with us because of the imminent threat. But she resisted the pressure,†said Ramashray, a Parivartan employee. When Parivartan expanded its work ambit to local self governance, Koli lobbied with local political leaders of nearby assembly constituencies on behalf of the NGO. She started as a 16-year old social worker with the Parivartan NGO. She was effective in mobilizing street crowds. She was AAP's candidate from Delhi's Seemapurti constituency - I suppose that should be a good start to find the SOB.
