I still think sehwag has allot to offer, Che & Virat are good players of spin, virat esp is good at using his feet, yuvi & dhoni should back their strenth to clear the ropes, just dont let them bowl at you.

The pitch perfectly suited Panesar's style of bowling and the pace at which he bowled. The ball was doing something everytime. It wasnt particularly bad batting but its one of those days where you have to accept someone bowled out of his skin. It wasnt turning as much even for Swann and Indian spinners. I think Indian batsmen will get on top of their spinners from the next game as long as they put this game behind them and start fresh.

When I played in the nets at Oval Maidan, if I did not attack spinners - the coach made me run 2 rounds of the Maidan. The coach told me one line - Spinners should not bowl - should be your attitude. This is what different coaches used to teach as well, I wonder what has changed. I think we should blame MS Dhoni for this too. He is not encouraging batsmen to use their feet.

I think playing by coming forward to the pitch of the ball and like tendulkar used to play against warne , that tactic should be used. Indian players are playing spinners just like their foreign counterparts. And pitch should be forgotten out of their minds.

More than turn Indian batsman were done in by the bounce their spinners got. Indian spinners missed the trick. On this pitch you'd at least expect Bhajji to do well but he has been out of sorts for sometime now. Wont mind if Eden is a turner, in fact bounce there just gets lower and lower. England will struggle big time there.
