Pragyan Ojha Abhinav Mukund Rohit Sharma - He can be a better test batsman Ishant Sharma Yuvraj and Jadeja? Seriously?

He bowled very well in last 2 tests vs England on flat, batting tracks. 3rd test at Kolkata - bowled only in 1st innings O M R W Econ 29 8 78 1 2.68 4th test at Nagpur 28 9 49 3 1.75 15 3 42 0 2.80 These pitches are tailor made for batsmen and spinners. You cant expect seamers to run through sides. Its this retarded, high expectations from seamers in India which got many of them unfairly dropped despite giving 150% on unresponsive pitches.

In the 3rd Test, he almost got Cook, who was dropped by Pujara in the slip. He went on to make a 190+.

He went on to make a 190+. yeah he bowled okay,but his fitness and age is a big worry,dont think he'll make it to SA tour,so better giving a youngster a go.though he defintely deserves a farewll

He might be a good mentor for the young bowlers. Might make a good coach.

Saying that I think in his last test he actually bowled ok. I personally think he may be worthy of inclusion. But with emergence of shami, plus my desire to build a team for the future i would not pick him. But can see why some would pick him as I reckon mat still do well for another 14 months. But he is another not getting any younger and seems to be getting fatter and fatter
Number Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Yadav injury's whole episode was so mysterious. He was fine on 5th day A'bad, got a wicket then bowled a wide bye for 4 and Dhoni shouted at him. Didn't bowl a single over after that. Small niggle reported nest day and he was kept with the team for almost full tour without playing. I suspect Yadav will never play under Dhoni again. But lets see.

He went on to make a 190+. dont think he has completed a single ranji match after that without getting injured and even had to go out of the ground because of injuries in between matches.

Yuvraj didn't play long inningses in the series against England. He made some good looking 30's & 40's. I think yuvi is in gud knick. He can made these 30's &40's to bigger ones.....

I don't any reason why he shouldn't be picked.
