There is no way he's going to be dropped as captain before this test match and as a selector he should understand that. So I wonder what his reasons are.... He couldn't speak up when he was a selector?! :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: So what the heck was he being paid to do? Pretty convenient he collects his cheque and then speaks about matters which he was hired to deal with. NO, you cannot speak against bcci when you are selector.Regarding money he would have toed the line and collected millions ,respect him for that and also he is yet to his 1 time benfit of 1 crore and knowing bcci they will cancel it and also his pensions.

Why did it take him two and a half months to speak out?

How would a week change anything, unless he feels that a test victory would have taken away some juice from his attack?

He did not intentionlly sought out any media house to air his views.

superstar Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Lost one game in Asia Cup. Won 5-0 against England and 4-1 against Sri Lanka and of course the World Cup in last one year. Asia cup was lost because of one person. No one in the selection committee has the guts to say to who.

Bringing that matter up before the high pressure 4th test and pushing kohli into the middle of it. Everyone knows the history between sehwag and dhoni. Creating distrust between players is setting them up against each other.

Yea players would know about it. But picking sides in public is bound to increase player insecurity and create further doubts about who is on your side and who is after your head. I thought all this encouraged factionalism, but what do i know. These kind of motivational factors must be why sehwag and gambhir looked so motivated in the last few test matches. They all want to be captain so they are extra motivated to play so well.
