jairamesh Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Apparently his late pops, Rajiv Gandhi, brought mobile phones to India!:hysterical: in the 80s! After the potato and chips mumbo jumbo in UP now this in Gujarat, next he heads of to Bengal. Comedy Central needs to get this guy on their show! EhVhuW9Dxmk Rs 3/kg: Rahul Gandhi Lands in a Potato Soup http://www.indiatimes.com/india/rs-3kg-rahul-gandhi-lands-in-a-potato-soup-49960.html Rahul Gandhi may not be sure if he wants to play a bigger role in Congress. He might be reluctant to embrace his over-excited party workers who want to hoist him onto the PM's seat. But one thing, that Rahul Gandhi should, must and absolutely be sure of after his election campaigning in Gujarat is-he just has to get a speech writer. It is clearly evident that the poor chap wants to connect with his audience. But his way of going about it is appalling to say the least. His heart may be in the right place, but his words clearly aren't. And his recent outing during election rallies while campaigning in Gujarat have produced soundbites that the Gandhi scion would definitely like to forget.Want a sampler? Here are few of his quotes. Get your head scratcher ready and do not hurt yourself too much doing the face-palm. And to give words to your actions, we list out some twitter reactions to some of his statements too. Ofcourse Twitter exploded after his speech. It always does. But a BIG disclaimer. It seems he didn't say few of things he was being made fun of , apparently it was the crowd giving all those dumb quotes. And the users-caught in a fun frenzy-made some assumptions. But it was a fun read nonetheless. To stir up the crowd, Rahul Gandhi asked them,"How much is a kilo of potatoes selling for?" To which the crowd shouted back"Rs 3!". Now clearly that answer is absurd. But Mr. Gandhi doesn't get that and proceeds ahead to ask,"Then how is a packet of potatoe chips Rs 10? Who loses ultimately?":cantstop:
vayuu1 Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Good for us atleast it shows kandgress is destined to be doomed forever with him joining the think tank in near future

And thereby have biased news and false accusations have always happened and will continue.

Desi Cartman Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 I think he is a tool but here he was trying to score some points by telling Kisssans that big corporations are screwing them by buying cheap aloo and selling expensive chips. He is an idiot nonetheless
jairamesh Posted February 4, 2013 Author Posted February 4, 2013 RahulG invokes JFK "You've gotta stop asking your politicians how they're gonna do it and start asking yourself how YOU'RE gonna do it because that's how this country is going to move forward".:hysterical: unfortunately he didn't have speech writers present. diga Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Very protected from English TV media.....Rahul never participates in any debates on TV or is never interviewed comprehensively by any anchor for his views/decisions of the govt
Sachin=GOD Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Very protected from English TV media.....Rahul never participates in any debates on TV or is never interviewed comprehensively by any anchor for his views/decisions of the govt thats because he doesn't have any views on any important topic. I read somewhere that he gets more interview requests than any other politician in the country but he doesn't accept even a single one. You only have to look at some of the videos given in this thread to know how "intelligent" he is. If he decides to give interviews then any good (and impartial) journalist would be able to show the public how dumb he is so Rahul Baba simply doesn't give interviews.

The young guy in the audience trolled him, hope he is safe. BTW this is cool, next time you ask the govt about issues like water/power/inflation or for that matter nuclear plant safety, the netaji can retort back, "what can you do about it ?" :finger:
