seriously u ppl need a reality check..... if ur'e proud of the fact that ashwin is the second best scorer in this series then god help u..... u have the likes of kohli and tendulkar whom i expected to fire on indian pitches and i've got nothing against them since bad patches do occur, now if u rate ashwin higher then them ur choice...... what i implied is purely rational stuff that indians over rated ashwin by rating him higher than ajmal.... u need to look at the stats mate and u call him chukamal or any name u like it wont matter na cause ur opinion counts for zero, the fact is he's cleared by the icc so u can keep ur opinion to urself since it does not matter,cause if it did he would have been banned from bowling......and yeah ajmal is 34 or 35 or whatever age but ashwin with his fitness surely doesn't look like that he is anywhere near 24

The thread you are showing me was created when second test match between Indian England as going on and hopes from Ashwin gone down after first test.You should check Ashwiin vs Ajmal thread.Most considered Ajmal better but some did say Ashwin is better

Hes a novelty bowler bit like Narine for the Windies- is fine when playing in 20/20 when people are trying to slog him every ball with a split field- but very different when the batters set out to bat all day and can pick him from the hand. He doesn't have the basics, ie stock delivery and variations in flight and pace that a proper spinner needs to thrive at this level. You need to pick a bowler to bowl rather than a poor batsman at test level who can bowl a few trick balls in 20-20 to tail-enders.
