Best Indian offie?

Hi Guys, As an England supporter and fan of the game generally, it amazes me that you guys don't pick a proper offie rather than a batsman who tries to bowl magic balls in Ashwin- hes a 20-20 specialist not a test bowler. Whatever happened to that guy Sarandeep Singh? He looked a terrific bowler, lovely action, good turn and drift. Now Harbajan is over the hill surely you need to blood a youngster or two.

Do you mean Harbhajan Singh??...Sarandeep Singh was never a regular member of the side, he just played a couple of ODI's & Test matches. Later he lost his place to his Punjab teammate Harbhajan Singh.

No I met Sarandeep- he was a "classical" offie who flighted the ball and got drift. Doesn't seem to be playing anymore which is a shame- could have been a final international bowler.

There is no proper spinner in India we have couple of darters ,followed by a chucker and padauda

Sarandeep last played in the 2002 series in WI I think. Ganguly was the skipper back then and he favored Harbhajan over Sarandeep.

Currently or of all time? If it is all time-then like it or not Statistically it is Bhajji and also in his peak he was really good Currently-It's Ashwin,don't see too many off spinners coming up in the ranks

yes i know but i was giving reason why they dart.. on slow pitches u some time just need to throw accurate darts to pick wickets :P and for some reason there are only left arm spinner coming up and yet we cant play monty
