Expect the same cliché statements from these serial underachievers in nearly past two years like proclaiming the importance of winning the ODI Series vs Pakistan and England as key milestones to reclaim pride and ensure everything is okay. If my by some miracle we win the series and become Number 1 ODI Team after England series, expect no changes in the Test squad. Dhoni will be captain, Sehwag and Gambhir opening, evergreen Sachin at no.4, Zaheer recalled, and probably squeeze in Bhajji (hey it's Australia). Team in "transition" is turning into a freefall into abyss.

Nagpur has to be a marker for some harsh changes, i.e. call on Captaincy and seniors positions, position and credibility of Srini and selectors. It could have been after WC 11, a golden chance after Oval 2011, definitely should have been Adelaide 2012, but it's gotta be Nagpur surely.

i agree , fans and the BCCI will continue to make immature statements such as this and will use ODI successes to deflect criticisms and to avoid making drastic changes in the team for Tests.
