kabira Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 Sachin played well in last 3 games, we should have won them all and sealed the series.. Now we are into virtual final and Sachin will fail for sure...and there will be threads claiming that he cannot play in Finals...and he chokes..

Gambit Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 Inevitable. Even Sachin haters are closet Sachin fans.

coffee_rules Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 Let us cross the bridge when/if we (Sachin fans) get there. Else, these mails will look like disclaimers if he fails. But as Beem put it, this was a crunch game too. Had we lost it, the series and Dravid Kaptaani would have been closed chapters. Dravid should thank Sachin for hanging on to his Kaptani for a little while longer (until Lords).
dial_100 Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 I am sure we will get to see another 50+ there as well. I more want to see SCG shaping up next time and taking the lead, which he will surely do. Yuv, RD, and Dhoni are due for another big innings. If SRT is serious about his retirement, he will not miss out on single opportunity to score runs for his team. Let us not speculate as yet. Lets hope that our bowlers do excellent job to restrict English to meager total....:two_thumbs_up: and get easy win there...
King Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 How does it matter Jay whether some say he fails in finals or not? You can't speculate what people are going to say about Tendulkar in advance. If they do then it is their opinion. I think Indian cricket fans usually are very obsessed with individual cricketers. Either they can't stop singing the praise or they can't pulling one down. Balance is missing usually. I guess it was the same with WI supporters while Lara played. I suppose the top guns have to go through this irrespective.
