The Outsider Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 And why is it wrong when the Italian consulate and ambassador have vouched for their return?
surajmal Posted December 21, 2012 Author Posted December 21, 2012 Congressiyon, tumhara vishwas tumhari mataji mein sada salamat rahe. Rest of the Nation is hoping.. nay counting on it.
Stuge Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Wtf.. This is madness Sent from my XT535 using Tapatalk 2
Clarke Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 The ambassador/consulate's word means quite a bit I would think .. unless the high court & govt both went rogue, the Italians cannot afford to mess with us. So lets just see what happens two weeks from now.
DomainK Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 They will never return back from christmas. Oh, they will. Otherwise Italy will lose it's face in the diplomatic circles forever and their words will never be taken seriously ever again. They will be known as cheaters and that can have very serious consequences.
ravishingravi Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 And why is it wrong when the Italian consulate and ambassador have vouched for their return? "Two Italian marines, facing criminal trial here on charges of killing two Indian fishermen 10 months back" Never knew that going back home for certain special occasions is acceptable practice when on murder trial.
Clarke Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Oh' date=' they will. Otherwise Italy will lose it's face in the diplomatic circles forever and their words will never be taken seriously ever again. They will be known as cheaters and that can have very serious consequences.[/quote'] Not really, they have their NATO/EU buddies wrt trust. It would hurt them in the long run if the Indian govt isn't a sellout and kicks out some of their businesses from the second fastest growing major economy.

Yes it is an acceptable practice in most civilized nations. It is not uncommon for the accused to be let off to visit his family on a holiday, birth of a child etc. as long as the court is convinced that he will not abscond.

The Outsider Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 What are the consequences if they do abscond? A diplomatic incident for Italy.
KhanSaab Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 I doubt they are coming back. Arrivederci!
CSK Fan Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Lots of ignorance displayed on this thread about diplomatic relationships between countroes work. Also OP seems to think India is Pakistan where even the control of government/army, huge allegation to make and something which comes under contempt of court. If that was the case, the same court would have acquited the culprit on the first place.
vvvslaxman Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 will US let go of Raghunandan yandamuri for celebrating ugadi?
