Punjab new hot bed for talent in India

The punjab team is flying high in Ranji, leading the table. The team is full of amazing talents who I feel will soon start breaking in to India team. I have never seen a punjab team this good with so many young talents. Clealry Yuvi and Bhaji have inspired punjabi kids to get in to cricket. As previoulsy its always been the state for hockey and kabbadi(india just won kabbadi world cup with team of 100% punjabis) with not much interest in cricket, last few years seen big change in this regard. This team is fantastic with young hot shot bats mandeep singh and jiwanjot singh(tops ranji runs list). Wicket keeper/bat uday kaul. Plus young pacer sandeep sharma(tops ranji wicket list). Spinner rahul sharma is also there. The talent is endless and am sure with interest in cricket in punjab at all time high the talent will keep coming. Add to the fact that the mohali pitch is about the only one with pace and bounce in India, it means punjabi batters are better prepared for international cricket and better rounded techniqes, also their stats may hols more currency in evalaution. This should also in time see more pacers come through with the pitch encouraging fast bowlers and also with punjabis naturally good genetcis, this will hopefully see in time the strapping strong speedsters we so deseperatley need. Exciting time for punjab cricket, which also should seriously benefit indian team.

No big score for Jiwanjot today. But he already has 2 hundreds in 2nd innings, he may get another shot later. Mandy doing well though on a bowlers wicket. 62 not out atm :two_thumbs_up: Sandeep and Sid Kaul all deliveredd. Uday batting now, few low scores just in the last 3 or 4 innings but he will be looking to cash in. Has otherwise had a superb season with bat and gloves. Highest averiging wk/batsman as well :hatsoff:

Punjab has talent needed self belief which they seem to have now, wonder where Vrv is, I believe Bihar , U P , Jharkhand long ignored by BCCI has enough talent to make a good team , I hope selectors groom Rahul Sharma as he could be very good for India

OP are you aware Amarnath family is Punjabi? Lala Amarnath, Mohinder Amarnath? Dev is Punjabi? (Though in Modern times, he hails from Haryana, actually from border area), Navjot Sidhu? So many Jatt's have played Cricket for India. Amarnath = Brave Cricketer, up for challenge Dev = Longevity, Athletic Sidhu = Best player of spin from India (Both Warne and Murali rated him in top 5) Yuvi = cleanest hitter, safe fielder I don't think Bhajji has any Punjabi trait in him.
