Manny_Pacquiao Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 he is hostile. would make a great test match bowler. no batsman in the world likes facing shoulder height bounce and he could get wickets out of fear alone. i couldn't believe my eyes when i saw the bounce on that one delivery. and he looked just as surprised!! maybe he didn't know he had it in him. he wasn't picked in the ODI squad, i'm guessing they are gonna keep him in now.
panther Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 He's been included in the odi squad wahab, gul and irfan the likely seam attack.
Iconoclast Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 He's been included in the odi squad wahab, gul and irfan the likely seam attack. add anwer ali to that also ... i hope he takes over razzaq's role of hard hitting lower order batsmen and utility bowler.

Iconoclast Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 can someone make "mohamad irfan has been found out thread" just for the lulz.cant feild cant bat and leaks run what a waste of human tissue. go ahead and make one ... or are you afraid it might come back to bite u in ur face ?
Clarke Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 Junaid is much younger, not as quick but far more effective with the new ball as well as in the death overs. Look for quality people, not just phassstttt bowlers :orderorder:

Hur Rizvi Posted December 30, 2012 Author Posted December 30, 2012 :finger: Hawa nikal gayi Not really , dhoni can hit any bowler for runs when he is in fullflow that is not the concern but concern is his third spell fitness wise , doesnt look fit enuff to play ODIs , needs to work really hard on his fitness. Bowling wise i think apart from that one over to dhoni he was decent but considering is fitness we should drop him from next match
Old guy Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 Junaid is much younger' date=' not as quick but far more effective with the new ball as well as in the death overs. Look for quality people, not just phassstttt bowlers :orderorder:[/quote'] junaid was excellent even vs sri lanka on flat tracks .. i dont know why people are so obsessed just with pace? :dontknow:
Tiger80 Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 7 footers are only good for Basketball , may be such tall bodies are more prone to injuries or require more stamina for strenuous job like fast bowling
panther Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 gul should have bowled at the death but irfan is fantastic with the new ball, obviously need's to work on bowling with the old ball and some conditioning so he can maintain his pace for the 2nd spell.
Hur Rizvi Posted December 30, 2012 Author Posted December 30, 2012 junaid was excellent even vs sri lanka on flat tracks .. i dont know why people are so obsessed just with pace? :dontknow: I dont think many pakistanis rate irfan or any other bowler including gul ahead of junaid he has been the best young prospect in recent times....
Hur Rizvi Posted December 30, 2012 Author Posted December 30, 2012 7 footers are only good for Basketball ' date=' may be such tall bodies are more prone to injuries or require more stamina for strenuous job like fast bowling[/quote'] stamina is a very big issue for irfan...
Old guy Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 I dont think many pakistanis rate irfan or any other bowler including gul ahead of junaid he has been the best young prospect in recent times.... now they do earlier on even after fifers they were more obsessed with wahab
Hur Rizvi Posted December 30, 2012 Author Posted December 30, 2012 now they do earlier on even after fifers they were more obsessed with wahab Not many rate wahab or Irfan ahead of junaid.... Junaid didnt have pace when he made he debut so wasnt hyped much but after his performance against lankans he has been recognized as our best test fast bowler
panther Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Bowled well I thought for his debut, stamina was not really a problem. If he can get that inducker going can be a good bowler untill 2015 world cup.
saneindian Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Test avg of 40, ODI avg of 70, T20 avg of 45..Any batsman will be proud of such a record :P

Muloghonto Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 He is a good find but he won't trouble the Aussies, English & Saffies much, as he is a typical 'hit the deck hard' bowler who fundamentally relies on bounce rather than movement. Against Aussies,English and Saffies, such bowlers need to have Ambrose-ian control or else they get nowhere but he will be a right terror against the lesser teams if his fitness holds up.
