Could go either way but it is do or die for Sehwag right now. IMO, he is 34 and he has one year (max) left to get back into consideration, which is possible: with tours of RSA,ENG and NZ comming up, along with impending retirement of Tendulkar ( also, not to forget, Jadeja has not performed in batting yet- he cannot average in the teens and still be picked overseas IMO), there will be spots available in the team. But Sehwag needs to grab his chances- a strong IPL will keep him around the ODI team and if he does well in the next Ranji season, he could come into contention for the Saffie tour or England tour. If he has a mediocre season this Ranji year, it could be too late for him. But at 34, he still has time to have a final resurrection of his career. I suspect it will come in the middle order, though.

Not really sure if this is the end of his career. Selectors are sending him and Gambhir a message they have to work harder and become more hungry for scoring runs. Spots in this side are still up for grabs and Sehwag could came back in middle order or even back as an opener if he scores well in Ranji.

Yuvraj back in team when barley recovered from cancer. Bhaji back in team for no reason other then giving him 100 caps and photo op for fat cement man. Sehwag should be axed forever but guarantee he will weirdly get a recall at some point
