Bhai, Hafeez was a allrounder, whil Warner, Yuvi, Sehwag are match winners who can win match single handly for you...but Rohit Sharma....neither is a single handed match winner..nor an allrounder....just a talented whose talent somehow elopes whenever he plays international cricket..but comes back whenever he plays domestic matches

Warner, Sehwag are openers, Yuvraj is a lower order batsman (+bowls). Rohit being a middle order batsman needs to score hefty runs.

Every now and then this guy will give you an amazing innings but will be super flop next 20 innings. Now its up to Indian Cricket think tank to decide if thats worth it. Guys like Rohit/Ashraful/Afridi are like Dewali or Eid. They come once or twice a year to give us fans tons of fun. But rest of the year they are sheer disappointment. :facepalm:

Not that he didn't have his biases at times but not the kind that blocked objective thinking. Unlike Dhoni who only backs his chosen set of favorite non performing failures again and again! Raina, Rohit, Bhajji, Yuvraj....the list goes on! Tewary and Rahane will never get decent enough runs because they are not close to him.

I dunno why we always defend our bowlers.last match too 227 was a par score but Pak made it easily.Ishant n Dinda bowled straight on a pitch where everyone moved the ball

Dhoni thought there would be heavy dew,But it was not be And as we all knwo in day night matches in such conditions the ball will do much more in the night.
kubrickian Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 Rohit Sharma's average of 31 seems low but in ODIs its not really that bad. Suresh Raina and Yuvraj who are regulars in this lineup have average of 35. Mohd. Hafeez has an average of 27, Kamran Akmal averages 26, Shoaib Malik averages 33, just to name a few SC batsmen. Indian fans are spoilt because we have batting options, so when someone doesnt do as well as Kohli, we think he is a failure. Hell, people are calling for the head of Gambhir who has an average of 41 in ODIs.
