Old guy Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 Dont you think in India fast bowlers are made to wait and toil season after season on flat pitches and become injury prone and lose confidence while Pakistan immediately puts them into national team much sooner ? he is already in a team he was ok bowler last season improved this year i see nothing wrong in way he is being handled

He is not a tearaway like Yadav or Aaron who can clocked 145-150 but a bowler who depends on his skills with decent pace who you can draft just because of his pace, so it is much more important for him to have played and done well in FC cricket that is the best place to learn your cricket.

NareshK Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 he is already in a team he was ok bowler last season improved this year i see nothing wrong in way he is being handled I just feel when we play with bowlers like Dinda, Ishant, Vinay Kumar in test team, why cant we draft some young bowler who is doing exceptionally well in FC and see how he performs rather than go back to the same tried and tested bowlers and see them fail. If the new bowler does well, he will be a new wicket taking option for the team. Even if he doesnt do well, he can always go back to FC.
