Number Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 Rayudu, Pujara, Rahane I want them in the XI. Pankaj Singh should also be there.
King Tendulkar Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 Rayudu is not good enough. Another one he will be like rabbits in the headlights against international attacks. Cant play pace. Having serious doubt about yuvraj now. Fat lard ass. I would give hime one more game or bat him 6 to go for it 8 overs to and have a hit

King Tendulkar Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 rayadu was by far the best player in last away a tour of new zealand with some international fast bowlers playing... How did he did he do? Every time I have seen him not impressed me.
Laaloo Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 How did he did he do? Every time I have seen him not impressed me. It's a little hard to impress you :icflove:
Lord Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 Dhawan Rahane Kohli Pujara Yuvraj Raina Dhoni Irfan Ashwin Shami BK Jadeja Pankaj Rayudu Karthik
Old guy Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 How did he did he do? Every time I have seen him not impressed me. i dont care how player looks from wht i have seen he is talented enough to come into odi side and is a good finisher with decent technique and wont be rattled..

Having serious doubt about yuvraj now. Fat lard ass. I would give hime one more game or bat him 6 to go for it 8 overs to and have a hit :omg: Rayudu is probably the unluckiest Indian cricketer, more so than Rahane, ICL fecked up him badly. There is a good reason he is in the squad despite not being an uncelebrated name and not coming from a traditional Ranji powerhouse. Get Rayudu, Rahane, and Pujara in. These guys are probably the most unfortunate Indian batsmen in recent times, seeing likes Badrinath, Rohit, Jadeja, Parthiv, get opportunities before them.
jairamesh Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 How did he did he do? Every time I have seen him not impressed me. Well those of who saw him in NZ on some unforgiving tracks know he is class.
NareshK Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 There should be batsmen who have good technique against seam and spin and can offer resistance to good bowling. They should put a price on their wicket and should have ability to score 60 off 90 balls in tough conditions. If they are good enough to do that, they can also score easily on flat tracks. We are not getting enough batsmen like these because pitches have been made very flat and batting friendly in India.
1983-2011 Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 anyone but sehwag, gambhir, dinda, jadeja should not be considered as allrounder but rather a spinner

We are not getting enough batsmen like these because pitches have been made very flat and batting friendly in India. We have, Pujara (proven in England, playing for India A in one days), same Rayudu, and we all know the story behind Rahane. There are three gun players ready, proven, with numbers to back them, yet Dhoni, Fletcher, Selectors, and Srini have persisted with the failings of Sehwag and Gambhir in the last 12 months.
King Tendulkar Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 Rayudu cant play good pace. You lot now praising rayudu were same lot who turned on me and started defending jadeja and how he got triple ton so deserved to be in test side blah blah Raydud is not good enough, cant play pace. And no one mention his glove work as it is poor and makeshift type

King Tendulkar Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 hes not a keeper Just posted that just in case, as sometimes he keeps but is only make shift

And no one mention his glove work as it is poor and makeshift type He has never looked particularly bad against pace to me. He deserves a shot, do you have any examples to back up your assertion that he cant play pace. Pujara is a must in this ODI team, he will give our flimsy batting line-up some much needed solidity.
King Tendulkar Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 ^ Pujara and Rahane should open thats for certs. Everyone in Inda thinks this apart from dhoni and srinivasan

No examples . But had no examples on jadeja but just experience of watching both. Both cant play good pace. Maybe rayudu could be given a go in odis late down the order, as this weakness can be overcome in limited overs. Howver, he is not class
