When are we going to see Shami Ahmad bowling for India?

and this year's season and those a tours helped him u can tell he is not that raw and knows wht he is doing going by his comments in articles he can reverse the ball too..which is hard to learn

If India need to see these bowlers even after a year playing for India, they have to keep them away from the meaningless IPL. Shami Ahmed, B Kumar, Yadav, Ishant and Aaron should be nowhere close to the IPL/CL etc... If they continue to play in that Mickey mouse league, by the end of 2013 we would have lost half of them.

fellas... please go to youtube and watch some of Shami's bowling highlights from his NZ and WI tours last year and you will see what is the reason behind all the buzz being generated by him. His bowling skills are significantly above average and when on song he will rattle batsmen. I remember watching him, Veenie, and Unadkat bowl against Latham (from NZ A when he scored a crazy ton) and you could see the difference in Latham's approach when facing Shami. We can certainly not judge his caliber at the international level with just one game but if any bowler deserves to be groomed and nurtured then it is someone like this kid who is very unassuming and willing to learn. All this talk about his pace will be mute when we actually see him go full throttle. But let's not expect our quicks to debut like brett lee coz they don't get to bowl at indian batsmen :giggle:

I am sorry to be a bit realistic but BHUVI wud be thrashed on flat tracks and wud neeed friendly tracks only once the ball is 5 over old........though i admit his first 6 overs can be dangerous and after it he is probably the worst exactly like PK. Shammi also looks a shade better than average and i feel DINDA is a better bet than him.
