How many Indian states/UTs have you visited?

    • Between 17-26. I'm getting there. Will cover the country in a few years from now.

I have lived in 13 states for more than one year. Uttarakhand Punjab Assam Arunachal Pradesh Andhra Pradesh.....twice,in different decades. Madhya Pradesh Maharastra...twice in different decades Uttar Pradesh Jammu And Kashmir Goa Haryana Tamil Nadu Delhi

Punjab Haryana Chandigarh Delhi Uttarakhand UP Rajasthan Gujrat Bihar Jharkhnad West Bengal Madhya Pradesh Chattisgarh Maharastra Tamilnadu Karnatka Andhra Pradesh Telangana Himachal Pradesh 18 Total - Not bad. Other than NE states, I haven't been to Kerala, Odisha and J&K in larger states. And some UT's.

Despite travelling 17 states...I still haven't visited the most touristy places yet....Kerala and Goa...Time to make it No 18 and 19 in my next trip to India

I too haven't been to these two states despite visiting 18 of the states. Yes number is 18 as I had missed Himachal Pradesh in my list.

Delhi is neither a state nor a UT. It has the status of NCT. (National Capital Territory)

Although technically a federally administered union territory, the political administration of the NCT of Delhi today more closely resembles that of a state of India with its own legislature, high court and an executive council of ministers headed by a Chief Minister. New Delhi is jointly administered by the federal Government of India and the local Government of Delhi, and is the capital of the NCT of Delhi.
I thought sometime in the 90s, it was declared a state with a legislature, CM, etc.
