Saha isn't a batsman. India needs to grab this test season. How? Only if batsmen and bowlers are reasonable form.

Pujara was one of our best batsman in SA series on rank turners where none of Kohli and Rahane did much. They clicked in the last test at Delhi which was a flatter pitch in comparison to pitches in Mohali and Nagpur.

Disagree. Kohli And Rahane didn't do too well in the two decided tests but Pujara wasn't too good either. 21, 77 at Mohali; 21, 31 at Nagpur and finally 14 and 28 at Kotla.

Just one half ton. That won't give him the best bats tag, if hes playing as test specialist. To be outstanding, he should do better, even on tough tracks. I'm a big fan and want to see him do better and better. He should give up the grudge that hes been neglected for LOI cricket, hasn't been given enough opportunity there etc etc.

and the thing to be appreciated about kohli n rahane is till 3rd test they both were batting with wide stance which they changed in 4th test and they both did stand out crease.

Pujara always does well in subcontinent but the chinks in his armour are becoming quite noticable specialy the ball coming in and it did happ in SA series to i think against spinners as well

Kohli n rahane does have gud overseas perfomance under their belt and they do knw how to get runs but another problem with pujara is even when trying to survive his scoreboard doesnt move much which in many overseas games led to his down fall. So many games he was batting on 30 over 70-80 balls and in overseas ball jaggs for long time and any ball could get u thats were rahane n kohli keep ticking their scoreboard and does have a decent score a lot of times.

 

Pujara problem against incoming balls scares me most coz it our batting cnt rely on 3 batsman and what if one strikes a bad form we ll b gone. Dhawan n rohit are already extremly unreliable . 

Pujara form is really essential for India to rise in test cricket and next 1.5 we dnt have any major overseas tour so his weakness might no bother him but when ui go there n if he fails we wud struggle really badly. 

And i dnt wanna see nohit come out to bat at 3 again

Agree with Ankit completely. Pujara should have used this free period to improve his batting or at least to get over that weakness over incoming ball. But for that, he has to accept first that there is a weakness. Right now he is in denial. Completely different Pujara from what we knew 7-8 years back when he played junior cricket, domestic cricket,then A cricket.

 

Real attitude comes out only when chips are down. I'm disappointed.

He played around 15 matches in 2/3 years for RCB after bought by $875,000 [not sure how much he was given actually]

Who cares about Rohit Sharma?! But what about players like Pujara, Rahane, Vijay? They too have good work ethics. Right now Kohli is better than them in performance but he needs to show that in tests where hes falling behind.
