jairamesh Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 MSDĀ© Gauti Rahane Pujara Virat Rohit Yuvi Raina Ashwin Jadeja Mishra Ishant Bhuvi Dinda Shami
Sid Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 I would take Sehwag over that talented piece of crap anyday.Sehwag and Rohit, both should have been dropped IMO and Kedar Jadhav should have been picked.Sick and tired of Rohit
SLICKR392 Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 This means Gambhir will stay. :wall: If Dhoni can remain captain and play Test cricket, I don't see why Gambhir shouldn't be included in the ODIs.
Magneto Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Rohit retained. As expected the win has prevented the total shakeup. No vision from the selectors 7-0 looming :giggle:
Cricketics Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 I would rest Gambhir too. I still think we can make as many changes as we want, we play about 50 odi's till world cup 2014. It's fair to try other players and rest gambhir and sehwag both. And these guys meanwhile should rest and come back to the team after scoring plenty of runs and being away from ODI cricket for few series. I am sure they can play the way thy were before. But for now they need to be out. I have faith they will be around as our best opener when 2015 wc comes around.

Sidhoni Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 If Dhoni can remain captain and play Test cricket' date=' I don't see why Gambhir shouldn't be included in the ODIs.[/quote'] Okay then. Compare the two. Currently, Dhoni in Tests > Gambhir in ODIs.
cowboysfan Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Pujara should open because Gg will get worked over by the poms.goodbye to viru from loi cricket.
puneet28 Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Pujara inclusion welcomed !! But what is Rohit Sharma doing there ? Where would they play Pujara ? In place of Gambhir ? I don't think so
Sidhoni Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Gambhir' date=' Rohit, Dinda :WTF:[/quote'] At least Dinda won us the 2nd T20 by his death bowling.
Cevno Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 poor. Sehwag should hv stayed.Gambhir should hv gone imo. hopefully Pujara plays ahead of GG in XI also Rohit stays too:wall: Why should have Sehwag stayed and Gambhir gone ? See their ODI records for the last year. Both should have gone or Sehwag.
Lord Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Sehwag's reflexes have slowed down. I dont think he is capable of giving those flashy cameos. Pujara is a good selection. yes but if I had to retain him or GG,it'd been him. I would bat Sehwag in middle order.hes decent against spin still
Cevno Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 At least Dinda won us the 2nd T20 by his death bowling. Then select him for the next T20 squad ffs. He got dropped for this match.
Dumbbells Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 This selection is just for first 3 odis. Lets hope all the extra baggage are left for the remaining 4 odis.
Cevno Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 What the hell is Mishra doing in the squad, btw ? We have Jadeja and Ashwin already ? What is the ****ing need of another spinner?
Lord Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Why should have Sehwag stayed and Gambhir gone ? See their ODI records for the last year. Both should have gone or Sehwag. Gambhir has feasted on mighty SL.else hes been poor.atleast Sehwag doesnt waste balls
Lord Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 What the hell is Mishra doing in the squad, btw ? We have Jadeja and Ashwin already ? What is the ****ing need of another spinner? backup, though I'd have Abdulla or Jalaj
Sidhoni Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 This is for first 3 ODIs. I am hoping Gambhir would be dropped after that.
