R.D forever Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Hussey's incident was when the stars were batting. There was an innings break between when Warne could have complained officially . If he was so pissed off he should have reacted immediately. Nah , this doofus waits till samuels comes on to bat and shows off in front of the crowd. Pure publicity stunt ..
Muloghonto Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Warne what a tosser. The incident had nothing to do with him, so I don't know why he was trying to be a big hero and get involved. In the interview after the game where he says "I was trying to throw it to Quiney" what BS.. Just because of his status in the game doesn't mean he should get away with acting like a complete ahole and I think Marlon had every right to be angry with him. I didn't see the incident with Hussey though, but it's irrelevant to this issue bcause it had nothing to do with Warne. mate, its a team game. Care to think of a single team sport where you can ***** with my teammate and expect me or one of my mates to retaliate ? Had this been any other team sport, Marlon would've been pummelled to the ground.
philcric Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Any video showing what Samuels did to D Hussey ? Warne was way OTT and it did seem like attention seeking. But have to see Samuels-Hussey clip to see if there is any justification of Warne's behavior.
Number Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 On the other hand it shows what a team man Warne is. Not thinking one bit about his legacy for his teammate.

What Warne did was childish and hardly the actions of a leader.
ravishingravi Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Samuels and Warne nearly coming to blows z6S38ow6pKI
Fre3Hit Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 :finger: Well.. I am thoroughly entertained on Monday morning. Thanks Warne and Samuels.
Geoff Boycott Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Very very sad incident' date=' Warne is Icon of Cricket and deserves respect.[/quote'] True, but he is also a prize ****. I wish Samuels had decked the ******.

Had this been any other team sport, Marlon would've been pummelled to the ground.[/QUOTE] This is horseshit and you are just flaming up the incident Samuels made a joke and that too for a few milliseconds & made it obvious he was just monkeying around Warne acted like an assinine ill mannered spoilt brat There is no comparison.
suraj Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Well for me the captain has the responsibility to conduct themselves in a respectful manner. What Warne did was childish and hardly the actions of a leader. +1

suraj Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 True' date=' but he is also a prize ****. I wish Samuels had decked the ******.[/quote'] +1 ; should have kicked his football like body out of the ground :giggle:
Muloghonto Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Had Marlon done the same in almost ALL team sport, he'd be hammered. If this was Ice hockey, he'd get his teeth knocked out. If this was football, he would've been lined up and body-slammed by the biggest linebacker there is. If this was soccer, he'd be missing an ankle. If this was rugby, he'd have a broken shoulder or two. I am sorry, but horsing around or not, when you do something so unsportsman-like and cheap in a team sport, expect a response is the bottomline. I admire Warne for what he did, for that is what i'd have done- unsettled the asswipe who messed with my teammate in a CLEAR UNSPORTING AND CHEAP way, then set up my fast bowler to break his head. If that is not classic misdirection and 'BANG!, dont mess with us' message, i dont' know what is.
Jersey #10 Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 warne is lucky to not have Gayle instead of marlon :haha:
suraj Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Dude I watch all these sports and I also watched that incident You are just shooting off your mouth about teammate crap without taking into account what really happened Comparing ice hockey and cricket itself is an Internet warrior approach that makes little sense- ice hockey marketing and its audience is based on fights ; even referees allow it to go on for a while. There are appointed fighters on all teams - it has less to do with teammates vs the way that sport is evolved. And comparing the hunky ice hockey fighters to roundy wusses like warne-lol! Even in football opponents do joke around and even pat each other - if they fight its because of serious physical attack not the tugging of a teammates' shirt. And then they really fight like men not yell obsceneties on a mic or throw a ball at the opponent in the ***goty manner that warne did; rakhi sawant looks more macho than the aggressive warne- lol! Warne is just an attention ***** who acted like a cowardly ill mannered spoilt brat not the teammate defending macho stud that you are painting him to be; next you will want to start cricket players kicking and punching each other every time a bouncer is bowled a la baseball - absolute nonsense
suraj Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 warne is lucky to not have Gayle instead of marlon :haha: I really wish he tries this stuff with the likes of Gayle someday That will be the last time he ever bowls
Jersey #10 Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 I really wish he tries this stuff with the likes of Gayle someday That will be the last time he ever bowls or Yuvraj, KP etc...
Zero_Unit Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 aside from all the drama i just realised that these crappy BBL matches are more TECHNOLOGICALY advanced than most international matches ...
