Magneto Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 http://sports.ndtv.com/cricket/news/item/201777-skipper-ms-dhonis-sister-in-law-stands-in-queue-to-buy-tickets-for-third-odi Ranchi: Team India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni's sister-in-law bought tickets for the third ODI between India and England, to be played here on January 19, after standing in the queue for three hours. Mamata Singh Dhoni, wife of Dhoni's elder brother Narendra Singh Dhoni, was spotted on Thursday in the queue, marked for ladies, with her daughter. The crowd recognised them when the little daughter was repeatedly asking her mother whether "chachu (uncle)" would play or not. When scribes asked why she had to purchase tickets from the counter, she said she had tried over phone to contact officials of the Jharkhand State Cricket Association, but could not reach them. She reportedly bought two tickets for Rs 1,500 each. It has also now come out that how the authorities who had promised Dhoni's brother a ticket were now not taking his calls. Since he wanted to see his brother play in Ranchi badly, he has come and bought the match ticket. Meanwhile, a JSCA release said tickets worth Rs 1200, 1500 and 2000 were sold out on Friday after the counter opened on Thursday for sale. However, tickets for Rs 10,000, 12,000 and 15,000 are available, the release added. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Who says Dhoni is the all-powerful man in Indian cricket? :--D

Magneto Posted January 12, 2013 Author Posted January 12, 2013 I think they are paying the price for Dhoni's cough and cold.
Malcolm Merlyn Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 Shame MSD.You are liable to get free tickets as captain of India and yet you didnt get any for your brother.Seems Dhoni has become big even for his family.:headshake:
Lord Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 And why is this news? maybe to show how Dhoni doesnt give unfair support to his close ones:winky:

Ultimate_Game Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 Looks like Dhoni doesn't get along with his brother coz every player gets tickets for every match, and the no. is increased for players for whom it's a home game.
rahulrulezz Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 It's obvious Dhoni doesn't get along with his brother. My mama who is a politician gets free tickets from A Mishra for Indian matches
CG Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 So his brother is not a important member of Bjp after all. Anyways if arun panday his business partner and his spouse get free tickets thorugh out india. If dhoni wanted surely he would get some for his elder brothers family.Shameful.
vamos_rafa Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Merge this with the dhoni should be sacked as captain thread.
Pagalpanti Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Slow news day? Yesterday it was "I washed my own car - Sachin" Today this
Trichromatic Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Looks like Dhoni doesn't get along with his brother coz every player gets tickets for every match' date=' and the no. is increased for players for whom it's a home game.[/quote'] Not really. From what I know his relations with his brother and sister's family are good. I don't know why they have stand in line for taking tickets. But if anyone who has see their family for years, would not believe that they don't get along well.
CSK Fan Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 She should join Rhiti sports. Would have got the best view in the stadium, from the non striker end.
