Mamata Singh Dhoni, wife of Dhoni's elder brother Narendra Singh Dhoni, was spotted on Thursday in the queue, marked for ladies, with her daughter. The crowd recognised them when the little daughter was repeatedly asking her mother whether "chachu (uncle)" would play or not. When scribes asked why she had to purchase tickets from the counter, she said she had tried over phone to contact officials of the Jharkhand State Cricket Association, but could not reach them. She reportedly bought two tickets for Rs 1,500 each. It has also now come out that how the authorities who had promised Dhoni's brother a ticket were now not taking his calls. Since he wanted to see his brother play in Ranchi badly, he has come and bought the match ticket. Meanwhile, a JSCA release said tickets worth Rs 1200, 1500 and 2000 were sold out on Friday after the counter opened on Thursday for sale. However, tickets for Rs 10,000, 12,000 and 15,000 are available, the release added. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Who says Dhoni is the all-powerful man in Indian cricket? :--D

Looks like Dhoni doesn't get along with his brother coz every player gets tickets for every match' date=' and the no. is increased for players for whom it's a home game.[/quote'] Not really. From what I know his relations with his brother and sister's family are good. I don't know why they have stand in line for taking tickets. But if anyone who has see their family for years, would not believe that they don't get along well.
