Among them the names of Margaret Noble (later known as Sister Nivedita), Captain and Mrs Sevier, Josephine McLeod and Sara Ole Bull, deserve special mention. You may want to check that out, if you do not know already. One of our greatest sons of course. It is surprising how quickly he has been forgotten. He and Ramkrishna Paramhans. I wonder if it is related to (decline of) relevance of Bengal in modern India.

Of course i do both so :spruceup: Another one: a strong body produces a strong mind. One of my favorite instance is wheni think after his speech, a white woman is attracted towards his personality so she says i want a son exactly like you, will you marry me and of course swami v replies mother please accept me as your son. :hatsoff: And the other one is whenhe's on a boat, he overheard two white guys talking crap about indians and their culture. Swami vgoes up to them and says if you talk bad about my culture again i will throw you off this boat.

Only fault that I can find is (if you can even call it one) that like his fellow brahmo samajis, he was way too understated (almost trying to be PC in the pre PC age) in his dialectic.
