Which Indian side came remotely close to these performances overseas in its history ? In fact, there was no other side which did equally well both home and away other than the Aussies during this period.

Huh? I am not saying we did poorly overseas over the last decade. I was correcting your incorrect statement that India used to get whitewashed in Australia regularly. It happened just once in '67-'68, whereas it has happened twice in the last 12 years with the said cricketers part of the team - that's a fact. India's best stretch in Australia was between '78-'79(2-3) through '80-'81(1-1) to '85-'86(0-0).
