I think the plan has changed... With the emergence of AAP at the expense of Congress, BJP needs Congress more as the principal opposition party... So BJP will do enough to keep Congress floating in order to thwart any plans by AAP to expand in other states... I'm anticipating Kejri to do a huge campaigning for Nitish in Bihar elections, to test his popularity... The groundwork of him campaigning in Bihar has already been done by Nitish...
Disagree with the last para,he won't commit a political suicide by campaigning for those thugs, his clean image will get thwarted.ak is a street smart politician

^ AK will never campaign for NK and Lallu. He will be finished in no time. Mark my word. If he ever aligns with Cong, Lallu, DMK, he will go home.
Instead, He wants them to get aligned with him. I remember recently he wrote a letter to everyone to support him against centre on issue of Najeeb Jung and Centre. That was a clear message to take Rahul Baba's throne. But they all are career politicians. No one responded.:--D

NEW DELHI: Priyanka Gandhi objected to sharing information on her property details on the argument that the RTI applicant seeking the disclosure was not a resident of Himachal Pradesh. Questioning the locus standi of RTI applicant Dev Ashish Bhattacharya, Gandhi moved the Himachal high court in yet another move to prevent the information from being made public. Earlier Priyanka, daughter of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, had argued that information disclosed would be a threat to her life. In a writ petition filed in HP high court Priyanka Gandhi claimed that Bhattacharya is not a resident of Himachal Pradesh and is not a Himachali and therefore has no locus standi to even question the correctness or otherwise of the order granting any relaxation in favour of Priyanka Gandhi permitting her to purchase property in the state. She also said that Bhattacharya was complete stranger to HP and lives in NOIDA, therefore, could not be aggrieved of an order passed by the state urging that the petition be dismissed. "Priyanka Gandhi is the daughter of the Congress chief Sonia Gandhi who credits Congress for giving RTI Act to the nation. And see the callous reasoning being provided by Priyanka Gandhi for the non disclosure of the asked for information,'' Bhattacharya said. Bhattacharya had sought copies of land records and other property details owned by Priyanka Gandhi in a RTI query in June 2014. The HP state information commission had ruled that the information should be disclosed. However Gandhi approached high court to block disclosure.

Kingpin' behind Vadra land deals in Bikaner held BIKANER: A day before the start of the monsoon session of Parliament, Bikaner police on Monday arrested one person, allegedly kingpin of Congress president Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra's dubious land deals in Rajasthan. The man, identified as Jay Prakash Bangarwa, is a resident of JNV Colony, in Bikaner. He was chairman of Loonkaransar Krishi Mandi from 2006 to 2011. With connivance with revenue department officials, he prepared fake mutation (transfer of ownership) for around 360 hectares of land in Bikaner's Kolayat region. The land was fraudulently allocated to villagers under a rehabilitation programme. It was then bought by companies including some owned by Vadra.
So, After Lalit Modi episode, now Rajasthan Raje Government in cleansing mode. Still dont know why Jamaai Razaa is free

Going in the right direction albeit too late... We have been asking BJP to open Vadra cases in Rajasthan and Haryana...

Today's Parliament proceedings just reinforce Modi's slogan for a Congress mukt Bharat. Congress first wanted a debate on the Lalit Modi controversy. When Arun Jaitley called their bluff and agreed, they changed the narrative to "We don't want debate. We want resignations first." Whole plan was to just be obstructive. Their motto is that they won't do anything and won't let anyone else also do anything. Wish this party gets reduced to single digits next time.

Dont you think thats the usual tactics by opposition. BJP did the same and just didnt allow Parliament to function and that too sometimes on pretty silly reasons like this modigate. So, they all are same and there needs to be accountability on these Netas as to why they dont allow parliament to work and why should people pay them from our pockets. SAB MILE HUE HAI

2G, Coalgate, CWG and Augusta Westland were not silly reasons IMO. And if I recall correctly most of the adjournment Parliament faced was due to the Congress member themselves creating ruckus on the issue of Telangana.

Here are the differences: 1. Congress did not even want a discussion on any of these scams. Arun Jaitley today in RS clearly said that the govt is open for a discussion. Yet Congress had already made up its mind that it will only disrupt Parliament. 2. Two of the three resignations Congress is seeking are not even employed by the Union government. Raje is CM of Rajasthan and Chohan CM of MP. Can these matters be taken up in their respective state assemblies instead of disrupting Parliament? 3. If Congress wants resignation of Chohan and Raje despite no significant evidence that they were personally involved in any scam, why aren't they asking for the same yardstick to be applied to their own CM, Virbhadra Singh, against whom there are several allegations of corruption in which he appears to be personally involved. 4. 2G, Coalgate, CWG scams were scams of epic proportions that brought a lot of shame to India along with the loss to the exchequer. There is no evidence to suggest that Lalit-gate was a scam in this league or even for that matter a scam at all.

The bolded part is one part I whole heartedly agree with you. Whoever is in govt and opposition, there is absolutely a need for accountability. MPs should be made to work nights, weekends, 24x7 shifts if needed in order to ensure all Parliament business is transacted. That way only they will learn that these disruptive tactics are not good for themselves either.

Sushma Swaraj tweeted that she will reveal the name of a congress leader who pressurized her to give diplomatic passport to a coal scam accused Santosh Bagrodia.
1. why she is using this as the blackmail tactics? Isn't this her responsibility to let things like this come in public? 2. Why she got pressurized?

Pressurized to do what? Was Bagrodia given the passport? I do not think he could have been if he is an accused.

Bhayee its nots pressure. Its called "Sifarish" (its a term between nepotism and recommendation). "Sifarish" is Indian way of living. It is generally used first time when child gets first admissions into primary school and continues till he takes last admission on a hospital bed. Same goes for Lalit Modi letter too. I dont understand how icfers have lost touch with reality, After all, we all came from the same system and I can guarantee , everyone including their own family is using "sifarish" in India.
