They must portray themselves as a party for all communities.Their too much secularism/appeasement saw them being dumped by the majority group and the minority whom they appeased for so long dumped them at the first oppurtunity. Other parties must now think how far this appessement will take them?

Other parties must now think how far this appessement will take them? +1 makes no sense for the congress for eg to live of the scraps of the RJD and Jd(u) in Bihar. Even if they win in this combo at max they will get minister of jails or something. Better if they contest all seats in Bihar under their own banner. They have literally nothing to lose. I realised they did it in 2010 and it did not work out. But they cannot just give up and throw in the towel. The congress need to get back to basics and connect the people. Offer a solution on their problems than simply say secular. The Gandhis need to allow leaders to be projected.

Unlike AAP or even BJP, Congress its not just a political party. Its a soch and a way of life. We will be back!

Ajay Maken, the face of Congress this eelction lost his deposit too, and came 3rd in Sadar Bazaar, a traditional congress stronghold.:((

Too many parties fighting for the same minority vote bank and most of them work better than the Congress.The BJP vote bank has stayed with it.Congress must realise that they need to eat into BJPs vote bank and for that their appeasement policies must stop else they are going to be extinct.

Give young guns like Jyotiraditya, Sachin Pilot full authority. Unfortunately for Congress the fight is for survival not for getting power. Every party is recognized by its main leader. Whatever Ashutosh or Prashant Bhushan say it will not matter because ultimately it is the image of Kejriwal which will save AAP similarly whatever Pragya or Adityanath say will have no or least impact all of these guys are saying same thing from last 15 years, BJP will be recognized by what Modi says. The most important part of any party image or perception is its central leadership and for Congress that is the weakest link. Rahul Gandhi talks about tirbals, poors in his speeches it is really very good but if he talks about poors in his speeches and spend half of the year in Spain then common man will not be able to look upto him as their own.
