Surprisingly none of the MSM have picked on this - This is circa 2004

http://archive.mid-day.com/news/2004/may/84207.htm -

"Backops Engineering, which provides civil engineering services for architectural, civil engineering and construction companies, has secured plum projects like the citys international airport terminal building, the commercial complex at Phoenix Mills, Belapur railway station, the Wockhardt Hospital in Mulund, and buildings at the Osho Commune, Pune. The list includes many other sought-after projects and some overseas assignments too. The impressive line-up may have a lot to do with the fact that Rahul Gandhi, now MP from Amethi, owns 83 per cent of the companys shares."

After executing so many prestigious projects, the Backops company surprisingly chose to dissolve itself within 5-6 years.

with that sort of money these people will never go away from Indian politics. Even if its half of what swamy is saying, they can easily pump in thousands of crores per yer and fund the entire congress with their money.

a take from the other side.. well written if one disagrees

Written well , but problem is its difficult to agree when some one says RG is "inspiring".RG says he is ok with GST but last session he was not even ready to debate about this. Even more is for all the intolernace debates RG can't even ask his CM Siddu to make sure  Kalburgi case solved. So its bit difficult to inspired by some one who speaks and does things differently.

"It is quite natural that they should talk to the opposition, but the Prime Minister has invited Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh only after public pressure. This was not his intent and this is not the way he functions," Gandhi told reporters in New Delhi

So you block parliament for whole session and then PM who wants to get reforms done want solve issue by meeting trouble makers you say this is not his intent :cantstop:

More comedy gold

12:35 pm: Ghulam Nabi Azad: Leader of the house talks of the constitution but doesn't mention Pandit Nehru's contribution. How is it possible that Pt Nehru is not spoken about when we are discussing the history of Constitution of India.

Ghulam Nabi Azad: This is intolerance that the BJP is not able to recognize the contributions of the first PM of India.
