We have been busy with SL till now. Afghans ka bhi number aayega
But the more BCCI seems to help SLC , the more grudge these Lankans grow against us. Very much like Pakistan. They love to hate Amerikans but take most Aid from them and more they take more they hate. No wonder SL/ Pak fans seem so friendly....

who the hell came up to help us when we were trying to establish our cricket ? Do england' date=' holland, ireland come and help us establish our football setup? These afghans have reached a state where they always look for outside help, they talk about pride etc then do it yourself and stop begging.[/quote'] Lol, Now I believe Indians have small hearts. We should help them yaar. Most of their cricketers come from refugee camps. They need money to build some infrastructure. A country like Nepal or Afghan can be a great addition to cricketing world.

What has Kabir Khan done for Afghanistan cricket except for make rubbish movies like Kabul Express. Even in that there was a glorified Kapil Dev vs Imran Khan discussion. No mention of any Afghan cricketing greats in his own movie. And I thought himmat e mardan, madad e khuda was an Afghan proverb?

Afghanistan board seeks India's support

The Afghanistan Cricket Board has sought the help of the Indian board to develop cricket in the country. Officials from the ACB met BCCI representatives in Mumbai on Sunday to discuss how the Indian board could support Afghanistan cricket. "We had a good meeting with BCCI honorary secretary (Sanjay Jagdale) and general manager for game development (Ratnakar Shetty)," Shahzada Masoud, the ACB chairman, said. "It's in the initial stage. We want to build up good relations with BCCI. We want help to develop technical staff, coaches, umpires, scorers and video analysts." Also present at the meeting held at the Cricket Club of India was ACB's high performance programme manager, Basheer Stanekzai. "We are preparing a new Under-19 team as the last World Cup team is over-aged." he said. "We have selected a 20-member squad. We are working on it and preparing for the ACC (Asian Cricket Council) Under-19 Cup to be held in Malaysia from May 1 to 12. That's the qualification round for the next U-19 World Cup. We need good coaches, especially in terms of batting." The meeting comes a week after Afghanistan coach Kabir Khan called on the BCCI to do more to help Afghanistan cricket, highlighting England's support for their neighbouring Associate nations.

yup BCCI bailed out the SLC and simply got accusations of fixing matches whenever sl lost to india. Better leave the development business to the icc.
