What a complete and utter scumbag Mahendra Singh Dhoni is. Shame on him, he may be the richest cricketer in India but in terms of ethics and morals he is right at the bottom. So there was no way he was going to be dropped. There wasn't any press conference in which Dhoni said that Bhajji would be playing so I am guessing that was just an imposed selection. And I don't think that Dhoni favors Harbhajan because if that was the case, then Bhajji wouldn't have bowled the no. of overs that he did -- he would have bowled many more. There is no way anyone can defend this decision of not picking Ojha in the team, but I think there might be more to it than meets the eye. BCCI officials might be involved.

If he loses confidence and "groove" just because he is dropped for 2 matches, then he clearly isn't suited for international cricket. It is all about handling pressure and beating the opposition - it is not a confidence boosting event.

It was the same when he was "brimming" with confidence as well - high SR is Ojha's bane. That said, confidence "down" is a poor excuse in international cricket that too after being rested for just 2 games.

Dropped for two games for absolutely no reason after being the team's best bowler in the last series and being the stock bowler bowling a restrictive line for a number of tests on flat pattas in the last couple of years. That strike rate is high due to the SSCs, Ahmedabads and Kanpur of 2009-10, flat roads where 600 played 700. In the last couple of years, not much of a difference between him and Ashwin except in this series. I agree in an ideal world it shouldn't have affected him but he does seem low on confidence and has lost his rhythm. Fair enough if you want to mock him for how he's bowled, particularly today, but that in no ways justifies his unfair dropping.

lame excuse . Why not use the same argument for Harbajan , he would have picked bucket loads of wickets here if not making a comeback . The pressure to perform was more on Harbajan .
