They bowl 4th stump and off stump line and hit good length consistently and also move the ball. The batsmen are forced to play and because of poor technique, they usually edge it to slip.

They din't guide the bowl to the slips because they wanted to but the bowler made them play that.

Abbott bowled well ofcourse.but not that well.a 7 fer implies absolutely amazing bowling.I'm just saying it wasnt that level and pathetic batting helped him he got swing yes,but most of deliveries on which he took wickets were outside off and could have been left .or they played horrendous shots like Hafeez or Irfan. I think the novelty factor worked for him.lets see how he goes against better lineups
