I said playing on such pitches will not do any good to confidence of young bowler like BK. I was hoping Ishant to bowl better like he bowled in ODIs against England but he is too hot and cold and is lacking control and consistency.

Selectors need to find bowlers who can bowl quicker to use reverse swing.

Shane Watson was effective with his reverse swing bowling 125-130 in Sri Lanka. Even Zaheer's reverse swing was typically in the low-130s. What makes it effective is hitting the right lengths with reverse swing and especially when you can disguise the ball during the run up.

Zaheer is a left armer so he is different and even he increases pace when ball starts to reverse. Regarding Watson, he bowls a heavy ball and hits the deck hard and his action suits reverse swing a lot. and then you need a pacer who can make an impact with reverse.
