Deodhar Trophy 2012-13

hes a good List A player.should be in contention ahead of guys like Rahane' date='Rohit[/quote'] Looks like a decent batsman with good technique and temperament but these tracks in List A are so slow, low and flat that there is no bounce or pace for seamers or lateral movement even with the new ball or for spinners in middle overs. Its easy to score runs on these wickets. How has he done in his overseas A tours ?

not doubting jaggi's ability, but we have shown to the world that we are content in being FTBs. I wouldnt be surprised if a young guy like Junaid Khan, who looks sh** against South Africa will be able to consider himself a hero against our new age batsmen who dont know how to play on sporting tracks. :wall:

Recently in overseas conditions, we lost all ODIs in England, performed poorly against Australia in CB series, couldnt manage to reach Super six in 2009 and 2010 World T20 - all conditions which have pace and bounce and yet we still play on these slow, low tracks in our domestic cricket. With the way BCCI is going on about things, you cant expect more than first round exits in Champions trophy and World Cup.

and even more incredible is that Cheteshwar Pujara, who has a List A average of 56.97 is left out in all ODIs against Pakistan. Not only are you making horrible pitches, you are leaving out your best players. theater of the absurd :((
