vamos_rafa Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Tendulkar would mostly play one big innings in a series and not many big score in rest of the matches. He How many back to back 100s SRT have in a series would like know? There have been a few. 91 Oz tour, 96 England tour. Also, its not that he has struggled in other matches after scoring a 100. He has had few 50's 60's. Part of the problem was that more or less, the team would always be collapsing. so, a 100 or 50 by him would be a face saving grace.
Sooda Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Sir Jadeja has 3 Triple centuries in FC. So Jadeja > Sachin. :cantstop:
SLICKR392 Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Sir Jadeja has 3 Triple centuries in FC. So Jadeja > Sachin. This ! + he bowls as well so Jaddu > Lara, Sachin, Bradman etc.
I6MTW Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Gayle is the best t20 player of all time and easily one of the greatest odi and test players. He along with Lara,Viv, Sobers, Chanderpaul are the greatest batsmen of all time. Anyone agree?

I6MTW Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 No. I mean greatest WI batsmen not including all the teams.
vamos_rafa Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 I mean greatest WI batsmen not including all the teams. Still no.
vamos_rafa Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 You got to be kidding man. You don't have Haynes,Greenidge, Kalicharan and all those and choose this tamasha league basher Gayle!
SLICKR392 Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 I mean greatest WI batsmen not including all the teams. Gayle doesn't deserve to be in that list.
I6MTW Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Still no. How? There are no better WI batsmen then gayle, viv, sobers, lara, and chanderpaul. Who is better then these 4? Gayle is def the best in t20. He's still very good in odi's.
I6MTW Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Gayle doesn't deserve to be in that list. He has 2 triple century. And before t20 came and got into his head he was a proper test batsmen.

You don't have Haynes' date='Greenidge, Kalicharan and all those and choose this tamasha league basher Gayle![/quote'] I forgot about greenidge, But Kallicharran better than gayle? lol. His average is 44. He has scored only 4000 odd runs.
vamos_rafa Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 I forgot about greenidge, But Kallicharran better than gayle? lol. His average is 44. He has scored only 4000 odd runs. Go ahead and check Gayle's record against the top bowling sides in tests.
I6MTW Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Go ahead and check Gayle's record against the top bowling sides in tests. Hr got a triple century against SA when Shaun Pollock and Allan Mcdonald were still there and Kallis was in his prime and many other great retired SA players.
